The City of Berkeley
The City of Berkeley is a diverse and exciting community offering a variety of recreational activities, entertainment, arts, culture, and shopping (ci.berkeley.ca.us).

Berkeley residents are passionate and vocal about social and political issues. There are many ways students can become involved in local civic and community affairs-from serving on a City commission to Cal in Berkeley internships (see here) or Cal Corps sponsored public service and volunteer programs (see here).
