UC Berkeley extension fall program for freshmen
The UC Berkeley Extension Fall Program for Freshmen (FPF) allows up to 650 students who have been admitted to UC Berkeley for spring 2009 to take campus-equivalent courses during the fall semester through UC Berkeley Extension. Classes are held both on campus and at an auxiliary site, a short walk from the main campus. All units and grades earned in this program transfer to the UC Berkeley transcript and meet graduation requirements (www.unex.berkeley.edu/fpf; 2515 Hillegass Street; fallfrosh@unex.berkeley.edu; 510/643-0379).
Opportunities
With a Cal 1 Card (student ID), students in the Fall Program for Freshmen may enjoy many Berkeley campus amenities. They can also participate in most campus activities such as service groups, fraternities and sororities, political groups, and pre-professional clubs.
