UC Berkeley Extension
UC Berkeley Extension is a continuing education program, offering more than 1,500 courses a year in Berkeley, San Francisco, Redwood City, and throughout the Bay Area. Extension also offers a wide array of award-winning online classes. Classroom courses are held during the day, at night, and on the weekend, and are open to anyone. Extension courses cover most fields of study—from lower division to professional—and there is no formal admissions process (www.unex.berkeley.edu; 1995 University Avenue, Suite 110; 510/642-4111).
Note: Extension credit is not accepted automatically at UC Berkeley. You should consult with the dean of your college or school before enrolling in an Extension course for credit.
